What a day–grammar in the morning, exploring the San Juan Islands in the afternoon. The weather was warm, wind was nil, so I took a few vacation hours to take my girls out exploring the islands while the weather coorperated. As usual, Bellingham Bay was the worst, the entrance to the Straits of Juan Georgia was dead calm. Go figure. It clocked out to 57 miles on the odometer, plenty of wildlife: some seals, otters, and the spouting of a whale. Time for sleep now.
