Weather update

The Pacific NW got hit with a cold front, arctic outflow winds from Canada. It was 19 F this morning, with a wind chill down to single digits, and about 3 inches of snow.

This might not be cold where you come from, but it is for us. We picked up some gear  this summer for our spaniel for just such a time as this (going out of business, coat and boots for $20). In spite of the cold, Penny the howling spaniel was not too hip on her new duds. Keep  the coat, lose the booties.

Hmm…sounds a lot like Michigan to me! We would feel right at home at those temps.

How come people down south are always blaming Canada for their cold weather? I live in the Canadian Pacific NW and it was nowhere near -7C up here. Last night I was outside for about 10 minutes after dark and it wasn’t too bad. Tonight I just got home from 1.5 hours outside distributing packages to the homeless and it was pretty good. I wore gloves but didn’t need a hat. I think the air gets colder when it crosses the border and American customs asks it too many questions. ;-) )))))

Fraser valley arctic outflow winds, is what I am told. It must be a media bias on the part of the weathermen.
